Common title tags mistakes

While writing code you should consider following guidelines:

1. Always fill your title tag; it should not be left blank.

2. Make sure that there is no default text or any untitled text in title tag. Generally when we use an application to edit web page that time it may happen that some default text might automatically get placed in the title text. So you need to check it every now and than.

3. Try to write such title tags that are relevant to the content on the page. All search engines compare title tag text and original text content on your page to check the relevancy. If both are not related to each other than this will loose your ranking.

4. Avoid repetition of keywords or key phrases in your title tag. If your site has repeated keywords or key phrases than search engine will spam it.
