Education
The Career
Education is a BC based, non-profit organization of people in
education, business, industry, labor, government and private
organizations who work together to champion career and learning
management as an essential life skill. Over 400 Career Education
members represent all regions of British Columbia and many influence
the direction of career development by sitting on national boards
and advisory committees. The career serves as the National
Blueprint for Life/Work Design and the Real Game

Directors and Executive and one salaried Executive Director operate
the Society.

Initiatives and
Resources
The Career

innovative career and learning management initiatives including
curriculum leadership in the education system, strengthening
government relations and establishing partnerships in the career
community. The Career Education has been instrumental in the
development of career resources such as Career Gateways,
the Real Game and Destination 20/20. Training
programs have been created and made available across the province.
Strong government relationships and member participation on key
provincial and national advisory groups and committees in a variety
of sectors enable the Career Education to exchange valuable
information and provide direction on important issues surrounding
career and learning management. As a result of the success of these
multiple initiatives, the Career Education Society is a respected
and influential leader in career education. |
